They do not fix on things and objects in the first place like ENTP do but rather on living beings and values. Persons of the Champion typology (hereinafter ENFP) account among us of 5 %, are tireless and lifelong fighters for perfection, love, authenticity, spontaneity, all this in order for people to be themselves.

Hardly anything insignificant or petty is happening in their life. They have great ability to motivate, to inspire. They are honestly happy when their efforts can encourage people, and they endeavour to help generally. However, if they encounter incomprehension or resistance, the negative experience will manifest either in the form of depression or as a desire to pay back the grievance. If their judgements are based on reality, they tend to be almost genial; if not, they are disastrously wrong.

They intensively perceive only themselves but are also sensitive towards their surrounding, and they can even capture those elements of interpersonal atmosphere that others are not aware of. As natural optimists, ENFP see in people only the best in them. This type is the most optimistic one of all other types. Sometimes they are driving at the fact that their essential optimism is mis-understood and is explained as superficiality.

They are very creative and like to do new things, mainly those that people like. Similarly to ENTP, they start working on more things than they can finish. Due to their happiness their enthusiasm can jump to others, and with a bit of luck those others will finish it for them. They are great improvisers, so what they finish is sometimes completely different than their original idea.

They love freedom and hate dependence and inferiority: theirs on others and of others on theirs. ENFP can repeatedly find themselves surrounded by followers for whom they did not care and of whom they do not even know they have them and how they came by them.

From the professional point of view, ENFP have really broad selection, and are able to succeed in several areas. They are warm, enthusiastic, entertaining, natural, inventive, of cheerful mind, imaginative, and they can manage almost anything they show an interest in. They are good especially where they can co-operate with people. Their presence has a warm and favourable impact on their colleagues. They know perfectly how to put people together, to begin, to 'initiate' the conference or meeting. They are less superb in organisational details, in finishing and implementing their findings and recommendations. Another asset is their ability to think 'on their feet', while thinking, and be able instantly to react to situations in the course of their development. In order to be successful, their tasks need to be as varied as possible, preferably every day different ones, even with different people. Only then are they able to use their creative and adaptive talent, requiring much room for their latitude. Their leadership is sometimes so penetrative and omnipresent that they are not always capable to accept the ideas of others. Similarly to the water being a natural environment for fish, interpersonal interaction is an environment for ENFP. On the contrary, they hate and do not succeed where the work requires, in their view, an unthinking repetition, adherence to the rules or norms, and where it is necessary to pay attention to administrative matters and to details.
ENFP are sometimes tense as if they were expecting the arrival of crisis which in the case that it does not arrive they will evoke it themselves, e.g. by leaving things for the very last moment. They know that under such circumstances they can be extremely efficient, and in the end they will somehow manage everything with exceptional efforts and in most cases they will also finish it. What lies behind the problem is the fact that they often assume that others, family members, friends and colleagues are in this respect the same. They assume that this way of life suits each person, but this is not true.

What interests them is what there is and not what there is not. Life in the fast lane is, similarly to ESFP, sometimes redeemed by huge changes of the mood when the depression is followed by excitement, scepticism by optimism.
It is stated that ENFP are predisposed to three ills: headaches and migraines, pains of backbone, and occasional, almost pathological tiredness and exhaustion. Therefore it is very important for them not to live constantly to the fullest, and to be able to truly relax.

Special strength of ENFP is communicational adaptability. Video records showed that more than other types they can take assume pace, gesticulation, facial expression and the way of expressing of people with whom they are speaking at the moment.

In majority of cases ENFP are altruistic and moral. As all idealists, they need a lot of praise and appreciation. It is also because of this reason why they keep in touch with many people; they belong to more groups. At the same time, they have significant need for intimacy, they strongly need someone on whom they can rely under any circumstances.
